The exhibition showcases silver being transformed into concepts, shapes and forms of nature. The metal becomes alive in the large-scale compositions made by the Latvian artist and silversmith Olegs Auzers, whose life has been involved with jewellery for over than 50 years. He combines the technical difficulty of working with silver together with philosophical and religious ideas, his inner experiences and global events to create intricate and realistic masterpieces. Not only can visitors see the artworks and have a guided tour, but also take a look at the workshop, in which jewellery training courses take place and silver becomes a piece of art. Additionally, visitors can acquire, buy or order individual hand-made and unique jewellery such as earrings, brooches and rings, gifts, as well as plates from sterling silver (an alloy containing 92,5% silver) can be used in order to make silver water and heal bruises for its antibacterial effects.

At the museum one can:

see intricate silver compositions
visit the workshop and discover the peculiarities of the art form
learn the health benefits of silver
order individual jewellery or gifts
buy the available designs at the shop

 Ticket price: 5 EUR
